Dr. Elie Menassa is a distinguished academic with a wealth of experience in accounting, fraud examination, and risk management assurance. He has held various academic and administrative roles at esteemed institutions, including the University of Notre Dame USA, the University of Aston UK, De Montfort University UK, and the University of Balamand Lebanon, in addition to serving as a Visiting Professor at Worms University of Applied Sciences in Germany and Cyprus International Institute of Management in Cyprus. Currently, he works as the Dean of Amity Business School Dubai and a Full Professor of Accounting and Strategy.
He holds a Doctorate in Accounting and Finance from Leicester Business School at De Montfort University in the UK. He has served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, USA.
He is an Academic Fellow of the Association of International Accountants UK and a co-founder and former Vice-President of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Lebanon Chapter. He has served as a Trustee General of the Maronite Diocese of Tripoli and as the President of the Municipal Council of Kfarfou.
Dr. Menassa provides consulting services in strategic planning, public administration, institutional and programmatic accreditation, and market research, collaborating with partners from the USA and the region. He has also held senior managerial positions at international organisations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Eternit SAL, Libano-Suisse SAL, and Somerfield LTD (UK).
